Video Generator · working title

Turn a brief into a video, published to the YouTube channel you already own

Video Generator drafts AI-generated videos and can publish them to your own YouTube channel — but only the video you personally review and approve, never anything automatically.

Who this is for

Video Generator is for creators and small teams who already run a YouTube channel and want help producing video, while keeping full editorial control over every upload. It connects to a single channel you choose and never touches any channel you have not explicitly authorized. It is not a channel-growth service, a bot network, or a tool for publishing at volume — see "Publishing limits" below.

What we do with your YouTube access

We connect to your channel through Google's official YouTube Data API, using an authorization step that is separate from signing in to the app. Signing in with Google only identifies you as a user (name, email, profile picture); it never grants access to YouTube. Connecting a channel is a second, explicit step that asks for exactly the following:

Read your channel information

We call the API's channels.list to read your channel's ID, title and handle, so the app knows which channel it is working with.

Upload a video, with your approval

We call videos.insert to upload a video to your channel — but only after you approve that specific video in the app. One approval authorizes one upload.

Track publication status

We call videos.list and videos.update to check whether a video you approved has finished processing, and to keep its status current in the app.

Publishing limits, on purpose

To stay well inside YouTube's rules against automated, repetitive, or mass-produced content, each connected channel can publish at most 2 approved videos per day. That ceiling cannot be raised from inside the product — raising it is a deliberate decision for a human to make, not a setting. Every video we upload is also marked as synthetic media, as YouTube's disclosure guidance requires for AI-generated content.

Your data, protected

OAuth tokens are encrypted before they are ever written to storage, and you can revoke access at any time. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is accessed, how it is stored, and how to disconnect.

Legal

Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Both are currently marked as drafts pending review by the service owner.
